DEPARTURE: The Ordinary World
Here's my motherhood haiku about my stage of my hero's poetry journey, inspired by the lines "...a hive for the honey-bee, And live alone in the bee-loud glade."
My hive is empty
Children like bees left their hive
Loneliness sets in.
Thanks so much for sharing, Sharmen!
Thank you, Megan, for always inspiring us. My haiku'ed words to reflect the tenacious journey into aging:
Wilted azaleas
yet hold eager pods nurtured
to light up the world.
Sandra, thank you! Always a good choice to go with a flower you can see right outside your window.
