love this step off the trail to sample a peach! I, too live in peach country, the midlands of South Carolina. I know that experience of driving, seeing a sign for a roadside farmer's market and stopping to sample the tasty wares. I just read Reverend Warren's article "Why Does God Keep Making Poets" and was inspired. I did a study on the Greek origins of many of our words, one of which is 'poiema' which is the root of poem and poetry and of course means 'workmanship' or 'creation'. That study enhanced and strengthened my poetry because it settled my soul concerning why I must write. Because we are created in His image we must also perpetuate creating. My soul rejoices to know this!

Thank you for this gift today. It made my soul rejoice to be reminded of this truth.

Ah, another peach person!

You are the third person to tell me about (or send) the article on God/poets. So much good stuff in there!

Yes, create on, my friend.
