I'm reading Jody Collins, Mining the Bright Birds - so edifying:)
Just finished an interesting library read, a novel (unusual genre for me) titled: The Librarianist, by Patrick deWitt and am also reading Poison for Breakfast by Lemony Snicket (another library loan). I have never read anything by him before. You've definitely got me thinking about writing some haiku for these:)
Katie, it's a good way to organize my thoughts around the book and to pick out the bright, sparkly gem I want to keep. Please share if you try it yourself!
Sometimes, like with Kristin, a haiku will not suffice, and so I write oodles of poems. But that has helped me crystalize the story too.
Well, you know how I feel about this book.
I didn't know Ragnfrid means "lovely goddess." That covers her character in a whole new meaning for me.
A haiku for every book you read. I may be stealing that idea.
Please! Steal away!
